BIRD has been very grateful to have received support from bereaved families when money is donated instead of flowers. This can be a real help to us as not everyone has enough money to leave a legacy, but by asking family and friends to donate money to BIRD instead of floral wreaths, it is a really nice way to show you care about our work.
How to make a donation in memory of a loved one
In most cases, funeral directors will be happy to make these arrangements for you.
If you would like to give in memory of a friend or relative, please send any donations, along with the name of the person in whose memory the donations are collected, to:

We will reply with a letter of thanks to the donor, unless requested not to do so. Please provide details of the next of kin if you would like us to let them know we have received the donation. We will not disclose the donation amount.
How to request donations in your memory
If you would prefer donations to BIRD (or any other charity), it’s a good idea to let your executors know of your wishes, or to include it in your will or any details you make about your funeral.
